Single chat web parts
This page consists of all chat web parts which can be used as a community communication tool. Support web parts are on a separate page.
Configure web parts to communicate with each other by setting the Group name property to the same value (DefaultGroup).
Some web parts are hidden until you enter chat and join a room.
Chat login
Enables users to log into chat. When logged in, displays the login status, a link to change nickname and the Leave button.
Chat on-line users
Provides a list of users currently on-line in the chat. Additionally, it allows to initiate one-on-one chat with an on-line user.
Chat search on-line users
Allows you to find a specific user among the users currently on-line.
Chat rooms
Displays a list of available rooms and a button to create a new room if the current user is allowed to do so.

Chat room name
Displays the name of the room the user is currently in.
Chat room users
Displays a list of users who joined a particular chat room along with their on-line state.
Users in room
Select the user to be invited.
Chat send message
Allows users to send a message to the current chat room.
Your message will be empty after resolving BBCode tags. You cannot send empty message.
Chat room messages
Displays the messages posted to the current chat room.
Selected user is not present in this room at the moment.
Chat leave room
Displays a button that allows users to leave the current room.
Chat notification
Displays notifications about various events, such as receiving an invitation to join a room.
Chat errors
Displays warnings and errors that may occur while chatting. If the web part is not present, all errors are displayed as JavaScript alerts.
